MHST Bridge and Garage

At Methodist Health Specialty Transplant, the bridge and garage work was less about easy access and more about solving real world constraints in an active hospital environment. J.E. Travis Painting worked with Kellar Martin for Methodist Hospital Systems, completing exterior work that required boom lift access, tight parking control, and constant coordination with traffic and operations.

A key detail on this project was the use of PermaTint, a specialized brick stain designed for masonry. It was a newer product for the team, sourced from Canada, and it delivered strong results without being difficult to apply. The challenge was not the product, it was the environment. The site remained active, so work had to be phased to protect parked vehicles and keep deliveries moving underneath the bridge. Over a long schedule that included weather shifts, the team transformed tired, dingy surfaces into a cleaner, brighter façade that matches the expectations of a major healthcare campus.
