PAINT

Position Summary

The Commercial Painter completes the scope of work as requested by the General Contractor. This includes the prepping, priming, and painting of surfaces using the specified techniques and specifications detailed in the scope. You’re expected to execute your portion of the workplan created by the assigned Foreman to ensure the completion of the scope of work in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Understand the Paint Process.
  2. Prepare required surfaces for painting.
  3. Apply first and final coats using brushes and rollers.
  4. Apply sprays coatings.
  5. Complete punchlists.
  6. Operates lifts as needed.

Position Summary

The Painters Apprentice assists our Commercial Painters and Foreman in the completion of the scope of work as requested by the General Contractor. This includes the prepping, priming and painting of all required surfaces as instructed by the project Foreman.

Position Summary

The Drywall Finisher (Tape & Floater) completes the scope of work pertaining to preparing unfinished surfaces for painting. This includes being responsible for the necessary tape and floating of walls specified by the Foremans workplan for the project.

  3. Float up to Level 4 on Walls and Fur-outs.

OFFICE

Position Summary
Perform within PSI systems (Microvellum) to create, modify and release drawings and production data requirements. Prepares data for CNC machinery, production personnel, and material requirements to various specifications using Microvellum and other tools. Supports production and manufacturing and other departments to ensure seamless transfer of information and support of standards and processes.

  1. Uses AutoCAD and Microvellum to create submittal drawings, modify redlines and release orders to manufacturing.
  2. Inputs and manages data within QuickBase system according to processes and procedures.
  3. Collaborates with other departments on field dims, construction methods and other aspects to ensure proper hand offs, execution, and transfer of information.
  4. Performs material take-offs and works with procurement and other departments ensuring accurate and timely release of material demand. Manages timeliness of receipt of materials to manufacturing and project schedule.
  5. Releases manufacturing data and machine code to production. Works with Manufacturing to troubleshoot, resolve and streamline data and processes.
  6. Produces as-built drawings and other related documents for close-out of project.
  7. Designs and streamlines construction methods to bring efficiencies and increased quality to manufacturing and overall process using design for Manufacturing.
  8. Create and maintains drawing, materials, and related files in Microvellum and other systems.
  9. Ensures accuracy of all information and drawings produced, and deadlines are met or exceeded on a consistent basis. Communicates challenges, opportunities, or issues on a timely basis

Manages projects from start to finish.  Seeing the project through all phases and ensuring successful completion.

  1. Reach out to General Contractor to get schedule once project is received.
  2. Housekeeping of internal database.
  3. Send shop drawings and submittals, order materials.
  4. Follow project through various stages, i.e., Engineering, production, and install.
  5. Visit construction job sites to record measurements using a tape measure.
  6. Ability to multi-task, will serve as point of contact on several small projects.

MILLWORK

Position Summary

The Building Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for building and repairing structures with brick, block, stone, and concrete around company property as well as assist the President of the company with offsite projects as needed.  General maintenance duties may be necessary to assist the maintenance team.

Position Summary

The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for the final stages of the assembly process. This involves a quality check and assembly of all parts produced.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Work on production line to assemble products in a timely manner.
  2. Focus on quality of product, ensure pieces being produced meet all specifications.
  3. Refine means and methods of assembly process.
  4. Troubleshoot any and all issues with material or design elements

Position Summary

The Cabinet Finisher is responsible for the final touches to ensure all cabinets are ready for installation. These final touches include the sanding and varnishing of the cabinets using a variety of tools and finishes.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Use table saw, sanders and various power tools.
  2. Read cut list and able to accurately measure and handle basic math.
  3. Finishing with paint and stain.
  4. Installing hardware.
  5. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  6. Must follow safety guidelines without exception.
  7. Shop upkeep and maintenance.
  8. Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level.

Position Summary

CNC Operators typically work for factories and manufacturing plants to ensure product quality by overseeing factory machinery. They control the safe and efficient management of machinery and assembly equipment to create various products. Their job is to review machine manuals to determine the correct method for operations and they pre-program machines to perform tasks at specific intervals. They may also be responsible for requesting new machine parts and conducting standard repairs on machines.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to standards.  Feed mechanism to be loaded by lifting material into position.
  2. Observing drilling, grooving, and cutting.  Turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance and processes.
  3. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations by maintaining safe operations. 
  4. Completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs to maintain the equipment properly to avoid unwanted and alarming situations.
  5. Maintained continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  6. Accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment to achieve organizational goals.

Position Summary

The Countertop Fabricator position is responsible for planning and completing assembly of all things laminate and solid surface (countertops, reception desk facades, etc.), using oral instructions, plans, specifications, blueprints, and work orders.

  • Fabricates materials according to specifications.

The final assembler finishes out cabinets and prepares them for shipment.

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and moving material around warehouses and other industrial sites.  The duties would include using forklifts to unload deliveries, stacking boxes for storage, and moving material pallets around the warehouse.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maneuvers forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
  • Safely stacks and unstacks large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
  • Moves goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
  • Unloads deliveries and safely relocates the goods to their designated storage areas.
  • Ensures that forklift driving areas are free from spills and/or obstructions.
  • Regularly checks forklift equipment for faults or damages.
  • Uses industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport.
  • Keeps up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.

Position Summary

Responsible for helping to facilitate accurate, on-time delivery of quality Millwork products while balancing customer service and delivery costs and the administrative duties associated with the operation of a Millwork production plant.  Serving as the first point of contact for delivery and logistics related questions.  Serves as the main liaison between Production Management, Installers, Delivery Drivers, and Installation Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Quality Control inspection of products and staging products for delivery. 
  2. Attend production meetings and safety meetings.
  3. Manages daily delivery dates, stages, and tracks product, directly supervises delivery drivers.
  4. Understands manufacturing and delivery processes and follows quality control procedures.
  5. Commitment to OSHA compliance, safety, and training programs.

Position Summary

This position is responsible performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives.

Job Functions

  1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  3. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  4. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.

Essential Job Functions

  • Cleans working area daily.
  • Examines shipment contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
  • Maintains a clean, well-organized, safe working environment.
  • Packs, sorts, and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Ships and receives, unloads trucks, matches invoices to actual delivery and distributes materials, reporting discrepancies.
  • Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
  • Required to place parts on storage shelves and fill production carts.
  • Required to count physical inventory and input into database.

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting in the specialty department to complete complex millwork projects in a timely manner. Must have the ability to receive instruction, interpret blueprints, and utilize specialty tools to complete projects with the time line given.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Assist in completing specialty millwork projects.
  2. Fabricate product as outlined in the approved designs and drawings.
  3. Be mindful of product completion dates and perform accordingly.
  4. Receive instruction from production manager and specialty lead.
  5. Possess knowledge of specialty millwork tools and machines.
  6. Possess ability to complete specialty products once instruction is provided.
  7. Knowledge of Architectural woodwork institute (AWI) standards

Position Summary

The Stone Fabricator and Polisher polishes, edges, and finishes stone products according to quality standards.  Stone Fabricators will play an integral part in completing our customer’s work orders.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Ability to perform all types of edge work on stone; hone and refinish polished faces.
  2. Experience using measuring tools, power tools, and equipment utilized in the tile and stone industry.
  3. Ability to adapt to and accept constructive feedback and implement necessary corrections in a timely manner.
  4. Fabricate materials according to specifications
  5. Maintains clean work environment, perform light maintenance on equipment as needed.
