Travis Millwork built the shell scope: the lobby and its feature stair, including the wood treads, the railings, and the paneling underneath. The crew also built the case openings leading into the practices, the wall panels around the openings, the vanities, and the quartz countertops in the shared restrooms.

The material was the story. Bid as white oak, then upgraded by the owner to imported European white oak. The finish was Rubio Monocoat, a two-part oil that wipes on and soaks in rather than getting sprayed like conversion varnish or lacquer. A different process, and the right one for showing off wood this nice.
