The schedule drove everything. The timeline was tighter than normal, so instead of taping and floating the whole space and coming back to paint, Travis ran both crews at once. Floaters worked one end of the building with painters right behind them, moving down the space as a single line. At peak the crew had six lifts going at the same time in one room. The finish had to be flawless because the showroom lighting spotlights every wall, so any imperfection would show. On top of that, owner-furnished lighting was staged to come in right behind the paint crew, which meant no room to run late. Travis hit the window and got out of the way.
