The Blanco ISD addition.

Scope: painting throughout, AcoustiBuilt acoustic ceilings, auditorium, gymnasium, classrooms.

The build at a glance

♦ What we did

The addition gives Blanco ISD a central gathering place. A full auditorium, a gymnasium, and supporting classrooms share one building, used by students and the community alike. J.E. Travis Painting handled the painting scope throughout, working alongside Joeris for nearly two and a half years.

The standout was the ceiling. The performance spaces called for AcoustiBuilt, a specialty acoustic ceiling system that improves sound quality in large rooms.

♦ The Challenges

This was the team’s first AcoustiBuilt installation, and it went into the rooms where sound matters most. The finished result was well received by both Joeris and the district.
