Position Summary
The Painters Apprentice assists our Commercial Painters and Foreman in the completion of the scope of work as requested by the General Contractor. This includes the prepping, priming and painting of all required surfaces as instructed by the project Foreman.
Essential Job Functions
- Understand the Paint Process.
- Prepare required surfaces for painting.
- Apply first and final coats using brushes and rollers.
- Apply sprays coatings.

- Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to take measurements, use various scale conversions as well as determine special restrictions.
- Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability assess and resolve minor problems.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED preferred, at least 1 year of field experience.

Lift Certification, Fit Test

- Safely stacks and unstacks large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
